considering buying a few upgrades here and there for my Birthday (November 14th) and i'm a bit confused.

at first i was considering buying a full water cooling loop (and make it a bit themed) but then i started thinking, how much benefit i would really get by spending on a loop rather than, say something else like a new monitor etc.
sure it would look baws (and if i'll go on the theme it would be amazing) and have great temps with low noise, but price is steep.

would like to hear opinions on is it worth it to go on a loop, or upgrade my rig (in the sig) in anyway?

(i have a 1080p monitor, which i guess is a TN one but it works for me quite well.)

also, i was considering waiting a bit to Black Friday (the 23rd) but i am not sure of which products would have a discount worth waiting for. (like, gpus? monitors? Water cooling?)

Your monitor is fine, though if you want you can always upgrade to a 1440p monitor.

yes i know/ not really sure how a 1440p is worth it for me, because either my GPU (single 7950) isn't enough to get the most out of it or there aren't 1440p 120hz yet

(i was just giving an example of an upgrade, not strictly a monitor. could be anything, thhough can't really think of anything else)

i think it should help that my budget is ~600$

120Hz is useless unless you are playing games in 3D. Also, there are two monitors that are around $400 that have 1440p. You GPU is more than enough to power 1440p as well.
Maybe get some books to read that you may like if not a monitor?
If not that you could always get yourself beer.

i'll be buying any book that i'd wish to regardless what time of the year it is (even if its my birthday).

Actually there is no little between 120Hz and 60Hz. It just all depends on the latency of the monitor, input lag and stability of the application.
