What's your budget?

Onboard audio isn't good quality; if you have a $100+ sound card and aren't tone deaf you'll notice a big difference provided you have the right hardware (decent cans, monitors etc) paired with it.
If you don't care about hq music etc that's fine, but just saying.

Personally, I think you should Upgrade your RAM. Move from 1333mhz to at least 1600mhz. While not a huge upgrade it will make a bit of a difference. Maybe if its in your budget get yourself another 7950 to Crossfire with just for the awesomeness of it. The rest of your rig looks to be in good shape. Got some pics? Maybe I can come up with some ideas like lighting etc for the looks aspect of it all.

If you have the money and willpower to water cool why not? Your mobo already has a block.
Image maxing you gpu out with a big oc and not hearing the fans screaming at you.
Order the parts now and over the long weekend take it apart, paint and reassemble etc. post a build log get geek approval

i am aware that onboard isn't good, but this is why i chose the ASUS Maximus V Formula motherboard as it has a great onboard solution. (should be somewhere between Xonar DG to D1)

i was considering replacing my memory from what i have to 2x 4GB @ 1600mhz since i don't think i really need the 16GB (which i'll try to sell to someone) and i have noticed the Corsair's Platinum RAM ( drool.gif )
unfortunately another 7950 might not fit the budget (unless i'll ebay one) and its unnecessary (for now).
also, here

notes:
considering selling my friend the case in favor for a different one. which? idk

but if i'll sell something in favor for something else (i.e. case and ram) it doesn't officially fit in the budget.

What if OCN is just a big advertisement for WC?

but seriously, i agree with that logic but not completely convinced. (also, it will be a bit more than a weekend)
and from what i have seen, many of Formula owners haven't used the WB of the MoBo, i guess it comes out a bit ugly / untidy and ruins the whole loop design...

I'd upgrade your RAM, and change the case if possible: Maybe too the BitFenix Shinobi, or something from Corsair. Maybe also get a cooler from Phanteks.

first, bitfenix isn't available at all to me ( frown.gif ). no product whatsoever.
second, i am considering between Corsair's C70, CM's Storm trooper (windowed) and (The) Switch 810 black non SE.
third, if i'll upgrade the cooler then i should go on WC. (aka OP main question)
(and totally need better ram)

What cans are you using? It's all relative to what you're trying to drive.

Shure 750DJ. heared they are pretty good for their price (got them for the price of Shure 440) and don't require much to drive them. (but i just might cancel that if there is really a better option)
