B day upcoming, not sure what to upgrade. - Page 3

I would either grab another 7950 or water cool.

Don't upgrade your ram, you will not notice a difference.

what if i'll be able to sell my RAM and get other one for no loss whatsoever? (but overall, i agree that it isn't worth it)
i think that for another 7950 i'll wait till Black Friday in the hope i might see a card for a good price drop. but otherwise i think WC is the route. (though a dangerous one, its addictive, expensive and has a community tongue.gif )

and case switch (possible pun) is 90% guaranteed.

while i have considered those, they have two major flaws:
1 - The tubing (not of a problem to add different one to it)
2 - the shipping on it is for some reason more expensive than individual products (the same amount)

and overall not enough customizing in those to achieve a specific look if i expand a kit to GPU too.

Honestly, stop arguing over the 120Hz monitor and clogging his thread up with unnecessary spam, it's annoying and you guys are stupid for fighting over it. Your both entitled to your opinions, but god, shut the hell up.

Anyway, on-topic. I'd pick up a second 7950, a better case, and maybe let your family treat you too dinner? smile.gif

while i'd love to get a second 7950, i think it is better to wait for some price drops to make it worth it. (especially when the cheapest 7950 costs in here, Israel, ~450$ including tax)
but that steak would be lovely biggrin.gif

Already own a M4 128gb SSD, and i know that the 840 would be a major improvement but for its price (let alone not available here yet) i don't find it worth it. headphones are already on the way (i.e. separately from this buy), i already own a mech keyboard (Thermaltake's Meka G1) and for games i shall wait to Valve's Steam Christmas sale or something. (which is simply wallet cruelty tongue.gif )

so i guess i might actually buy the WC loop, unless any other ideas?

Edit: (got me Ninja'd tongue.gif )

FINALLY! thank you.
anyway, as said before, i don't think there would be a noticeable difference (even by (some) OCN standards) with a 2nd 7950 (especially if its for ~450$) so i think it is best to wait. (i also plan to get a better case anyway and sell my current one to a friend which by mere chance is building his first rig)

i thought it was obvious, but a family dinner is a must biggrin.gif (not sure if it is only me but it is almost a yearly tradition)

Are you planning on doing EXTREME overlocking? If not, don't bother get a Phanteks / Noctua.
