Help me decide please!

So I'm getting very frustrated here because I have $300 that i want to spend on the LG Nexus 4 but at the same time I don't want to. I can't decide if I should get the Nexus 4 or not. I have two options.

-Option 1:
I can get the following items for around $300.
-I can get SGS3 for $50 + Contract (I need a new phone because I'm using a Motorola Atrix that's stuck on gingerbread)
-ASUS RT-N56U for $100 ( I also need a wireless router since the one I'm using is 4 years old)
-Sapphire HD7770 for $100 ( I need a new graphics card since I'm using a HD4850 atm)

-Option 2:
Basically I've been waiting a long time to get the LG Nexus 4 and it's a very powerful device with its quad core and 2GB of ram. I know most people will say go with option #1 but I have saved this money specifically for the LG Nexus 4 because I want a phone that will get instant updates from Google. I learned my lesson with Motorola and I just want a phone that will always be up to date with the most recent version of android.

I'd go with option #2, as you'd probably use that a lot more and be of more benefit to you on a daily basis.

That's what I'm thinking as well but the SGS3 can do pretty much everything the Nexus 4 can.

Option 1 would give you the most bang for your buck. It won't change six months down the road. Option 2 will get you a phone that will within 6-12 months be less relevant and could be had for less money than when you originally purchase it. And you will still have to buy a new router and a new video card.

Good point. Also, the more I think about it the more I want to go with option 1 since the GS3 already has a stable CM10/AOKP whereas the N4 will take some time.
