Gaming PC Build Please Help

Say you had 1200-1300$ on a Gaming Computer what parts would you use? Please include Canadian prices if not use USD but make it around 1000-1100$. This is what im thinking of building. But the guy at the store said spend more on video card, but i dono I NEED HELP!

All prices are estimates (with tax)

E6300 - $220
X1950XT 256MB - $300
Asus P5B - $170
OCZ GameXStream - $150
OCZ Gold XTC Rev 2 PC6400 - $330

Total - Around $1200

What you guys think, keep inmind THIS IS GAMING AND GAMING MOSTLY... Also I dont want to upgrade for a long time i need a futureproof Rig, only thing i might upgrade are Fans, or cooling lol.

The rig boredom selected is great!
i would just buy a p5B Deluxe instead........

I would have suggested the same thing but the new F8i bios fixed the problems both boards had with D9's.... that and it's cheaper than the P5B Deluxe

Is there really a massive difference between the P5B deluxe and the D/S3 in terms of overclocking?

hmm now the real question is should i or should i not get the 8800GTS? is it worth it for that DX10 card or will the X1950XT last me out for 2\\3 years.

Up until now the P5B Deluxe had the advantage of being able to clock higher than the S3/DS3 with D9's but with the new bios that has most def. changed

There is little difference now between them

Are you getting just the P5B or the P5B deluxe, because the P5B has a lot of problems with temps and ram.. A lot of people had trouble getting a comp with a P5B to post (including me) so...

Edit: forget what I said I didn't notice you changed the build. Im having a hard time reading right now....
