Help me choose a high end router...

Thread Starter
Hello guys,

I'm looking to buy a new high end router. We have like 5 computers at home and 4 iPhones along with some other wireless devices like iPad.

I'm looking for a fast, feature rich router and i was thinking about the NetGear R6300 or the Linksys E4200..

I'm doing a lot of game streaming on internet and i'm also playing a lot of online games

What you guys think?

Asus RT-N56U is a pretty good router but I have heard people say it overheats often.

Buy a router based on your internet speed. There is no point in getting the best router if you have a slow internet connection. It's the same as putting a gtx 680 into a $150 dollar dell PC.

Get the new wireless type: 802.11ac.
as for the models, I don't know which one is the best but definitely get a router with 802.11ac.
