Tiny one, but they do license out patents which Apple and Microsoft refused to pay for.

texas seems like the place for these type of patent companies. basically, the kind that don't produce new patents but buy the rights to the ones they think are valuable. on the one hand they're not doing anything wrong technically. on the other hand, they are basically not contributing anything to society

Yup merge this thread with that one please mods, if I see another "Apple patent trolls X" or "X patent trolls Apple" thread I'm going to explode. These lawsuits are becoming as regular and predictable as the freaking TIDES and need to be bottled-up in a single thread.
