SOOOO.... I just installed a new Silver Arrow SB-E on my computer, and I am running at 29C no load but my fan RPMs are low (600RPM) any advice on that? also how long before I can stress test this BAMF!
You can stress test as soon as it's mounted, but I would check all temps and run a few quick load runs first to make sure the fans are ramping up like they should.
I idle my fans at 660rpm most of the time. Case and Cooler. On previous mobo (X58A-UD3R) idle was 750rpm for more airflow over motherboard chips to keep NB at 54c.
I'm using PK-TC14PE not SA SB-E but am running TY-140 & TY-143 fans... which deliver same air as TY-141 at same speed.
