Capped at 60fps.

WHY!!!!!

i just want to play an arcady racing game! is it so hard!? why bother capping it at 60!>?mad.gif

Can you not change it with Nvidia inspector?
Also, you have 120Hz monitor right?

havent tried changing it, but my 580 is at 60% load when i have everything maxed and it drops ever so slightly and its really irritating!

Probably because at least 85% (rough estimate) people playing this game on PC will have a 60Hz monitor (if not more). Still doesn't mean that it's a logical idea on Criterion's/EA's part though. I've been reading about people complaining about microstuttering (with 1 card, since there aren't any SLI profiles yet), as well as poor lighting/shadow optimisation causing massive FPS drops.

yes the massive shadow fps drops do occur! its mental!
