Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme in Corsair 500R?

Thread Starter
Anyone know if this cooler will fit in a Corsair 500R? I read on one forum and someone claimed it doesn't. Couldn't find it anywhere online so wondering if anyone here know?

Thanks!

If that case has two120mm fan support next to each other then yes.

The Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme would most likely not fit well or barely fits in the 500R.
It doesn't seem a nice bet for the 500R.

Just look this thread.

That's the exact thread I found. That's the only guy who said it didn't fit. Not sure why not a lot of people have this combo. Thanks anyway.

Great, I'll pass on this and wait for the H100i then.

Well, I saw in your rig that you are using the Havik 140.

I'm a 300R and the 212+ owner and I've heard that the Havik 140 fits my case.

Do you have any cons or issues abou the Havik?

I really like my Havik. Nothing bad to say about it except that it's the loudest thing in my system, but barely noticeable. Keeps my 3770K 4.6ghz under 60* on load. Looks nice(r) than other coolers (ahem Noctua). It looks really nice too. I would get it if you don't want to get the H100, which I'm looking to buy right now.

I'm just curious, does the Havik 140 fits in the 500R with the side fan?
I've heard that the Noctua fits the 300R without the side fans.

I have a NZXT FZ-140mm fan and it has a bit loud motor noise at full blast (1000rpm) but it's quiet at 800 rpm.

My other Cougar Vortex HDB 140mm is quieter even at full blast (1200rpm).
I'm quite sure that the listed FZ airflow is exaggerated.
