its from computerupgradeking.com

its refurbished but i emailed them and was told if there was any noticeable cosmetic damage i would have 30 days to return or exchange.

Also from my experience i can figure out in a lot less than 30 days if there is something wrong due to it being refurbished...

The Samsung ssd has been going for about 160 USD from newegg and other places. so you are paying essentially 1080 for that laptop.

And note the G70 series gets pretty big in the back so it doesnt fit in some laptop bags.

They are usually overpriced too.

The lower level G75 laptops aren't overpriced at all. If anything with a 1080p screen, full 1TB HDD, 660M, i7 with 8GB of RAM, paying $1,300 would score you a solid machine.

Since this model is for less WITH a rather large SSD, the deal is very good if you ask me. smile.gif

Went ahead and ordered it. I don't use it for work or anything so the size doesn't matter since it will only be used around the house
