well the process for me is putting a file on a flash drive, selecting upgrade in bios and waiting about 15 seconds. so as long as you dont get a power failure, or cord unplugged. you should be fine.

wait, what mobo do you have, im assuming its the one in your sig, which is a msi motherboard, not asrock.
mines an asrock lol

why does your sig say msi 990fx, but when i click on it it takes me to the mobo linked above

I am currently working on my 960t

Wel working on getting my 1600T stable as hexa stable .... Not much succes but i wont use it until i get a prime95 testing for 24 hours! Other wise i wil not use it as a 24/7 setting.

Well I disabled unlock cores and I'm now getting 3.8 GHz prime95 stable at 1.35V, so I think I'll just stick to 4 cores haha

this is pretty much the conclusion i came to, im not rendering videos and most stuff doesnt use 6cores, so i might as well have a faster cooler quad

From my experience, BIOS temps work out to be somewhere around a 60-80% load for some reason. I have no idea if this applies to EUFI or not, but I know that all of my other rigs have shown the same exact type of symptom that you just described.

Are your temps ok in windows? I would rely on those temps much more.

Yup, the highest temps I'm reaching in SC2 which is supposedly a very CPU intensive game is 41C on clustered maps so something is definitely up with the BIOS. Highest I reached in Prime95 was 65
