well the process for me is putting a file on a flash drive, selecting upgrade in bios and waiting about 15 seconds. so as long as you dont get a power failure, or cord unplugged. you should be fine.
my motto is, if it aint broke, make it better

I actually just got this MOBO and hadn't updated my build yet. My mobo is the MSI 990FXA-GD65V2, and this link contains the type of warnings I'm getting.

Well I disabled unlock cores and I'm now getting 3.8 GHz prime95 stable at 1.35V, so I think I'll just stick to 4 cores haha

From my experience, BIOS temps work out to be somewhere around a 60-80% load for some reason. I have no idea if this applies to EUFI or not, but I know that all of my other rigs have shown the same exact type of symptom that you just described.

Are your temps ok in windows? I would rely on those temps much more.

Good luck with the OC smile.gif.

Yup, the highest temps I'm reaching in SC2 which is supposedly a very CPU intensive game is 41C on clustered maps so something is definitely up with the BIOS. Highest I reached in Prime95 was 65
