How do I connect Scythe Ultra Kaze fans?

Thread Starter
I have 2 ultra kaze fans, I have them plugged into the molex connector. Do I still need to plug in the 3 pin cable?

No, if they are plugged into a molex then not.

You have two options, use the 3-PIN connector and use one of the free fan connector on the motherboard. This will allow you to use a software to allow to control the fan speed if needed.

Or, you can use the molex, but fans will run at full RPM 24/7 and your PC might have lift off. tongue.gif
