Hello there... i have some questions to ask..

Hello there well i m going to start my new PC within next 3 or 4 days . and thinking for using it atleast 3 to 4 Years until my hardware dies or something more important came in hardware well this is the rig i m thinking to make

Basic Aim

HardCore Gaming / Midcore multitasking / Running RealTime Stats[This is for the work and it uses alot of memory And processor Power smile.gif]

___________________________________________________________________________________________________
These are the things that i m going to buy instantly other later on.....

Core i7 3770K

CoolerMaster 612S Cooler > Time Being > Later WaterCooling

Gigabyte Z77X UD5H

32GB Corsair Vengeance

Intel 240GB [520 Series] SSD > Windows / Softwares

1TB WD Black > Already have > Gaming
1TB WD Green > Already Have > Other Stuff

Dell U3011 Monitor

Gigabyte GTX680 2GB or Gigabyte ATI 7970 3GB

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium SB0880 > Gaming

Asus Xonar STX > Music > Later

JVC RX900

Logitech Z906 or Other > Later

Logitech G510 Keyboard

Cyborg Rat 7 ..... Already Have

Corsair AX1200i PSU

Some Random Cheap Casing Until New Corsair Obsidian Series came out Else 800D
Not into CoolerMaster At All

Well that's the things i m considering ....

My Concerns

Which one i should buy GTX 680 OR 7970
well right now i have GTX460 twin frozr and His 6770 on different systems and one thing is for sure that Ati is far behind because of driver support means many and i mean many times games crashes like BF3 / NFS the Run / Mafia 2 and many others even my window crashed many times even using the newest drivers so i stoped using ATI give it my cousin and used 460 and i see no problem i mean even with beta drivers still got better experience well Physx is not an issue i will add an extra nvdia mid end card for physx so i want know what preforms better ... well from the talk you would think that i just wanted to confirm me to buy Nvidia well this is not the case later in the post you will Find out

Core i7 3770K

Next thought is that i will be Using 3 U3011 / Nvidia Surround or EyeFinity ...... so would you think that it would be enough to handle 3 displays like no bottleneck issue or i need something bigger like 3930K ??? keep in mind that i m not going to get all things at the same time i will buy other things slowly also i m thinking by the time i get all the monitors IVY Bridge-E will be out in market and so i will get time to buy more GPU's and Water Cooling Stuff so when IVY Bridge-E come out i will buy it then

___________________________________________________________________________________________________

ok these are the things and please share your thoughts what can make my pc run better ... also i don't want to sound harsh but i don't care for benchmarking maybe 1% if some1 says me to do else i never thought about it / Cpu overclocking for some time but not all the time just want to see how much i can push my cpu else most of the time it runs at stock speed ... i just want to work my pc run butter smooth even at Stock Speeds

and as the watercooling stuff goes i will tell you when i sort this out

i will Add stuff Later if i forgot something and highlight in Green Color

Thank You

Get the 680, if you sli it later it will be like having a 690.
most games now are formatted to best play on nvidea cards (like borderlands)

your question about the i7......no it will not bottlneck, it wont bottleneck if you put 4 690's on the damn thing.
the i5 can handle what your doing, (i7 = i5 with hyper threading and a little more cache)
I would say you get a 7970. Its cheap and a better performer. It will also perform better on the 1600p resolution. You can crossfire later if you want.

You can easily overclock 7970 to get better performance.

You also get free games with never settle bundle.

means i7 will handle 7680 X 1600P .... well that's kinda relief well basically i m considering 7970 because its cheaper here even cheaper than 670

The new driver from AMD have tuned the performance of their cards and have resolved most of the driver issues and if there is still and issues it will be resolved very soon with all the beta coming out(12.11 divers) and no you will not encounter lags. If the 7970 is cheaper than 670 then its a no brainer, you should definitely go for 7970. Just get a good 7970 and you will be very happy.

Ive heard some not so great things about crossfire with the 7xxx series but 7970 is the way to go and in 3 years just get a new card entirely don't bother crossfiring.
