LOST PSU Power Cord, will any cord work?

Hi,
This will be a dumb question. but I have lost my PSU power cord from a very cheep old computer im about to boot up. My question is will any psu cord be ok?

I have a few cords lying around that are 10A/250V, BUT THE PSU IS MAZ 230V

Will this work or am I asking for trouble?

yeah its fine. If you were using a high end 750w+ the cords tend to be a thicker gauge, but for a cheap psu its fine

Thanks, I thought so but I just needed some reassurance.

So even though the cord is 250v and the psu is 230v it will be fine?

Yes, but never use a lower rated voltage cord, lower than your PSU, or you may risk a fire.

250v cord with a 230v PSU = O.K.

250v cord with a 300v PSU = BAD
