Memory enough for now ! ?

Hello to all! My machine has 4 gb ram and i am using a vertex 2 ocz ssd drive 60 gb! i wonder if its enough memory for todays needs ? i am thinking to upgrade to 8 gigs but ddr2 are more expensive than ddr3 ! and windows 7 using at least 1 gb when idle when running only avast on background why do they use too much usage on idle can i optimise it to run fewer services on background ? also when i am running games like crysis 2 or GTA i am seeing my memory going to 70% usage 2.8 gb usage . And another one question i have set the Page file from 1 gb minimum to maximux 2 gb it is advisable to leave windows to decide ? or u think with an ssd i need small size PF?

I really wouldn't bother until you upgrade your architecture as well.

Basically when you get a new CPU and motherboard then get new memory. I removed my page file completely with no issues.

basically i am feeling ok with that computer I dont wanna change cpu or mobo because phenom II is still good cpu and enough for games as for today dont u think ? i dont have that budget to buy fx or new mobos i was just thinking for Ram !

I really wouldn't bother with putting in more memory, for gaming that'll be more than enough.

Save and maybe put some cash towards a new GPU since you other one broke.

u mean about 6870 ? haha i had sold it but i am thinking taking it back again when i have money ! the guy i sold it dont wants it anymore since he told me he is not gaming anymore i will give him the gts 250 ! also with the gpu i thought upgrading the RAM too maybe i will get at least 2 gb more so i can have 6 gigs
