GTX 680 Won't Even Boot Into Windows :(

Well I bought a 680 today and it wont boot into Windows. It gets just before the logon screen and some fans seem to kick in about then. The monitor just turns off, no sound for logging in or anything.
I had sli 570's beforehand and they ran fine. And yes I did uninstall the drivers and tried taking it out and putting it back in. It will boot in safe mode and normal mode IF I don't have drivers installed. I tried both 306.97 and 306.23. It also still shows POST screen and all that. Oh and I'm using Win7 64bit.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

I question the need to replace SLI 570s with a single 680, as you wont get better performance unless you're gaming above 1080p. On the more helpful side I'd suggest clearing the CMOS. I do it whenever I introduce new hardware cause some issues can arise if I dont.

Yeah I'm at 1440p nowadays. I tried clearing CMOS and that didn't work either. Also to make sure it wasn't my PCI-E slot I tried one of the 570's and it boots up and runs fine. Could it be a defective card? mad.gif Hmmm.

Nope. I get like 4 or 5 small blue lines at the top-left of the screen just before the Windows logon but I've always had that.

Try hitting F8 and going into safe mode yet? It would honestly be better for you to give out a bit more information. System specs, monitor and what connection you are using. You can add all of that in your control panel. Thanks

Boot it in safemode then try to run a 3D application if possible. Make sure there's no overclocking software selected to boot on startup with windows too.

Are you using port 1 on the gpu? Try another dual link cable. Test the gpu in another pc? Thanks
