Safe mode and run through "uninstall programs" to make sure you didn't leave anything GPU related. Remove everything vid related.

Try booting into safe mode and make sure its detected. Then unistall all the nvidia drivers and install again.

I have tried a separate monitor with a standard DVI cable. I decided to see if the shop I bought it from can get it working in one of their machines since I don't have another here, so hopefully I'll know in another hour or two. Yeah I tried uninstalling Afterburner, Display Fusion and Powerstrip to see if it would help but no go.

Well they have had it for four hours and haven't even looked at it yet! The guy there said the case he would usually use isn't big enough but it will be done by the end of the day. Not impressed!! Last time I was there they didn't even have test machines in cases, just on like flat boards. Grrr!

Hmm, well it works in the machine they have at the shop. I tried disabling all drivers except essential ones and the nVidia ones and it still didnt work. Gonna try it in the x8 slot.

Thats what I said to do. Try all of your pci slots.

well this kinda happened to me..............i just did a fresh Windows Install and it was fine
