nice psu but i would switch the gpu to this one priced a little higher xfx ones usualy have bad vrm cooling.

The card that i have at the moment is an xfx core so am i right in thinking that a second card would be limited to my current cards clockspeed?.
If so i might as well stick to the cheapest, because as you said my current card has poo cooling. Anything above 950mhz pushes the temps way up.

If you run two cards in crossfire, then you are limited in speed by the slowest card.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong here but I think, with Boinc, you can have them un-linked and then each card would run at it's own speed and I don't think one would be limited by the other.
How are the noise levels at load with that XFX card? I was looking at that a week ago as it seemed a steal for £220!

I got that GPU on Monday, +300MHz straight out the box.

And doesn't get hot (POEM @ >80% load is 62 degrees at stock volts.

I saved a fiver, got lucky with a deal-for-the-day
