Should I backup my OS and media separately?

Thread Starter 
I finally got my drive situation sorted out and organized after purchasing my SSD. Now I have a small-sized SSD used mainly for boot with one or two pieces of high-level software that can use the speed. I have my media organized onto a separate physical hard drive. I also use that hard drive to install other less important software.

Now, should I backup my OS and media drive into separate archives? Or should I select both drives and have them together in one archive for each backup I make?

That's kind of a personal decision biggrin.gif I do the former ( backup ssd boot drive, backup media drives separately) but its entirely up to you.
