Yes exactly. If I were to run higher voltage (1.45v-1.5v) for a couple years is it likely that the asrock z77 extreme4 board would fail? It is one of the only boards in the z77 lineup that still uses the phased out D-Pak mosfets. I just don't know what that implies when I read it. Are they just not used anymore and were the **** a few years back until better tech came along? Or do they suck and will burn out?

Well yes, for 50 less you get alot lower quality with AS4E then with MVG, go with the MVG you will be so happy with the mobo, you can't imagine how good it is, it has very good VRM/UEFI - tweaking/control, and uses HQ parts.

MPower is your best bet ^^ as you can get a USB 3.0 to e-sata adapter to keep your transfer speeds up. I use one as my daily runner and my test platform and I cannot stress enough how much I love this board.Originally Posted by chronicfx

The Msi looks nice but it's the same problem as above. It didn't have esata avail. I know I didn't mention it in the first post but I kind of want it to be there. The pro and the ud5h have esata.

Its no returns for replacements - returns for refund only is what it has been for years. They are stating that they are not going to replace the board.I thought he had meant that since hes planning forward the open box wasn't going to last.
