I need some help with memory

I am looking at getting these

G skill 3x4gb sticks at 1.25 volts. I am throwing them on

The asus rampage extreme with 8 memory slots

My question is can I buy 3x triple channel kits and run 8 sticks out of the 9 as quad? or will it cause a problem at all Idk what to do I need ram thats very good with low heat spreader for my noctua

Also need to know if there is any compatibility issue with the i7 3930k with those sticks

I could go with a quad channel 2133 set but its at 1.65 volts its 4x4 gb I just dont like the 1.65 volts dunno if it matters or not will I notice any difference between the 2133 and 1600 version btw? is it worth the uprgrade?

Also could I use four dual channel kits instead of the 2 quad channel kits?

They probably won't run what they are rated for. The RAM settings they give you are meant to run in a certain configuration (dual channel, triple channel, quad channel). If you are just using the XMP profile for the RAM, you will probably have issues but it doesn't mean you cant tweak the latency, clock, or voltage. It's just a better idea to buy them as they are designed.

On a 1155 or a 2011 socket CPU, then you don't want to go above 1.65v on the RAM. 1.5v is ideal for the memory controller and it can give you some headroom if you need to tweak the voltage a bit.
