how do u update a samsung galaxy s3?

I hope I'm not annoying youbguys with questions about this phone but mybphobe is currently on 4.0.4 I just got it yesterday at at&t and I have been trying figure out how to update dart it and I just don't know what to do... so if yoybhave this phone can youbplz tell me lol

Im at 4.0.4 too and I'm pretty sure its the latest. As long as you are connected to an internet connection you should get notified if there are any updates available.

Im at 4.0.4 too and I'm pretty sure its the latest. As long as you are connected to an internet connection you should get notified if there are any updates available.

Have you tried to connect to your PC through Samsung Kies ?



Or better yet, root your phone and install a JB rom


My AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717 only has 4.0.4 but I am on 4.1.2 thanks to a great ROM. Takes less than 2 minutes to flash a ROM and you can always roll back to stock if you aren't happy with the custom

if I root my phone ill probably screw up, I can build a pc and all but I have heard way to many people say they bricked their phone and I really dont want to take that chance

Odin is simple to root. You can't brick rooting, the bricking can occur if you try to flash a non compatible rom, and even then you can usually flash a stock or recovery rom
