Windows 8 not keeping time (Slow)

Thread Starter
  • BIOS is dead on almost to the second
  • I have tried to update via internet about 20 times now and it only fixes for a few minutes
  • It is 12:48AM right now (the 9th) and my computer says 3:18PM (the 8th)
  • It happened after restoring from system restore
  • Time Zone is correct

I am out of ideas. I keep getting dumb answers on Google.

Edit: Correction, BIOS now says the same time as Windows. I just realized ever time I looked at BIOS time it was right after updating the time via the internet. Why would my BIOS time be slow? This motherboard is only about a year old and has been on most of that time. Would the Motherboard battery really die that fast or is it something else?

Edit2: I downloaded Atomic Clock Sync and adjusted Windows to sync the clock every 60 seconds as a temporary fix.

Edit3: I reset CMOS and that seems to of fixed it. Weird bug, ignore all this I am just talking to myself. ^_^
