Hi everbody:

I have an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX with a FX-8350. I'm wondering if anyone can give a few tips on OC'ing my RAM. I currently have 4 x 4GB (16GB) Kingston HyperX 1600 installed. I'm looking for a fairly good OC but would like it to be stable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Enter Bios chose XMP, and enter the stock speed, timings and volts, save and reboot to make sure things work. After that up the speed to 1866MHz, save and reboot. If it crashes you can either play with volts or loosen timings. Once that is stable, if you want more speed, up the MHz another step and again play with the volts and timings. Your goal is to gain speed, with the lowest stable volts and tightest timings possible.

Thanks for reply. I don't see XMP as an option in the Sabertooth 990FX BIOS.

It may be called something else or may not be an issue with an AMD chipset mobo.
