Since I view MSI as a better brand because of its cooling and it's traditionally more expensive, the MSI TF 6950 is currently going for $180 used and the MSI 6970 Lightning is $220 I'd say $190-$200 shipped.

What about the Accelero Twin Turbo? That thing was expensive. It allows for some nice low temps.

You'd probably be better off taking it off then putting stock back on. Then using the twin turbo on a new GPU. thumb.gif

The problem is that the other person would need to value that as much as you did. I have a Twin Frozr II 6950 and it would be my belief that a better cooler would be neither much quieter nor allow for much better of an over clock because the Twin Frozr is just awesome. It would be like having a EVGA card with a factory water block then changing the water block out for an ek block and wondering if it was worth more.

If it was a NVIDIA card that had the original turbo jet engine I would say it would add some money but I can't see someone caring to much about the difference between the Twin Frozr and the Accelero.

edit

and yes what the guy above said. So long as you can properly put the original cooler back on. Meaning if it requires thermal pads you need to get new ones.

ahhh missed that part, from what i can see the Accelero Twin Turbo for the 68xx and 69xx cards can be found new for $60 at newegg and as low as $40 on amazon.
since it is installed i would add about $40 to the above appraisal's so around $220 - $240 shipped if you want to sell as is..

If it comes already installed then I'd probably put it up another $20 or $30 tops. That's only if it comes like that, the instant someone has to do it themselves the appeal will go down instantly.
$180 is a bit much guys don't ya think considering 78xx being not much more but better. I say its worth about 160 tops.

Good point, MSI TF 7850 which for the most part is on par with the 6970 is about $220 new. I say $180 with the cooler.
