F@H Using 27% of GPU

It was working fine, now GPU folding is FUBAR. I was netting about 9kppd from it. Any ideas as to what might have happened?

All I've done is apply RacerX and OC.

Edit: 27% is current - fluctuates between 25-30.
Also, it's only using 5-8% of my CPU as well.

Not sure if it makes a difference, either, but I did change my SMP client to a linux VM.

Since you've overclocked, have you actually stress tested your GPU to ensure that it's stable...

If not, get furmark down and give that a torture test for a few hours.

Look for artifacts etc, if you can run prime95 and Furmark at the same time, this will give you a better idea of the stress your machine is being put under whilst folding.

Any reason why you changed, wait, You're using a linux VM and your processor is between 20 and 25%.... Did you allow the VM to access all cores of your machine?

GPU usage was between 25-30, GPU core was only using 5-7% of my processor. I set my VM to 4 processors and my GPU to 2 in task manager with core affinity to offset any problems like that.

Just realized, I did upgrade to 12.11 Beta. I don't recall when so maybe that's an issue?

12.11 Beta is your problem. There are no improvements for the 6xxx series GPU's with the 12.11 Beta drivers. This thread should answer any questions you may have.
