Love the build, and great you're having a blast! I too have my MPB but I couldn't live without having my towers to tinker on wink.gif
A good temp monitoring program is CoreTemp or CPU-Z for the CPU and GPU-Z for the GPU. If you want to have something running 24/7 nice and neat, a quick search on the windows widget site should get you in the right direction.

Ah sweet! My first rep biggrin.gif Thanks man.

I hope you enjoy the Ducky as much as I do! Which color LED and switches did you get?

P.S. - Nice laptop thumb.gif

To Thread:
I'm loving the desktop. Had it booted down for most of the last week or two because it was finals time at my University so I had to study and what not. I'm done for the Christmas break now though so I'll be giving it some heavy usage tongue.gif

Only interesting thing I can report performance wise so far is crisp maxxed out Skyrim with high res texture packs. After playing for hours on end my CPU never goes over ~48C. Never seen temps over 50 and my temp monitor records the highest temp reached. I'm not sure if that's good but I don't think it's bad... My macbook pro idles around 40-50C so I'm assuming all is well. The desktop idles around 26C with ambient temperatures of ~24C. That's about all I got so far but tis just the beginning smile.gif

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I have Windows 8 Professional and I was very reluctant to get it because I didn't want my desktop to be a tablet.. But I must say, its not as bad as people are making it out to be. It's actually pretty awesome in my opinion! thumb.gif

How well does the monitor perform?

Sorry for the late response. The monitor is top notch though. No dead pixels or anything and the stand mechanism is superb. It has a spring in it so that when you want to raise it you barely have to push up at all. I haven't really changed any of the settings or anything but it worked right out of the box perfectly. I'm very happy with it and glad I spent the extra coin to get a "pro" series monitor despite the fact that I'm not really a professional. Overall the quality seems much higher than the average monitor but I did have to pay more so

Thanks. Been on the fence between this one and the Dell U2412. Not sure which to choose, but not matter my choice, I know that I will end up with an excellent monitor. thumb.gif
