I have a quickfire rapid with blue MX switches. My only complaints about it are that it has a loud space bar and I don't like the styling at all, but for the $60 I paid for it, it is great.
With the money you save by getting this keyboard, you could buy a wrist rest separately.

As for after-market wrist supports I had a quick search on Amazon and just found gel ones which I know I wont like the feel of. So is there any companies that make nice ones that you can recommend?

I'd recommend the Elitekeyboard ones but with the shipping to the UK it may not be worth it (around $55 for shipping alone thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif). Keyboardco has come okay Filco ones which are slightly stiffer than the EK ones, but they're not 100% genuine leather I believe. You can get those either from their site (slightly cheaper, 36 pounds + shipping) or from Amazon.co.uk but still sold by Keyboardco and not Amazon.

regular size: http://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_details.asp?PRODUCT=635

tenkeyless/small: http://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_details.asp?PRODUCT=634

or you can get someone to make one for you/make your own...

I saw this over on deskthority posted by webwit which made me laugh: http://www.instructables.com/id/Keyboard-Cat/

okay so i've been looking between the Cooler Master quickfire and the Corsair keyboards, i still don't think i can get a decent quality wrist rest in the UK without ridiculous shipping. The only problem with the Quickfire, k60 and k90 is they aren't the best looking things ever but it might just be something i'll have to get used to.

Yeah, the CM storm is pretty damn ugly. I'd probably buy a ducky shine, if I actually had the money for a good keyboard.

You might be able to find a wrist rest if you just look at local computer stores. They're not that uncommon.

What makes them so ugly? The logos? If you have followed any of the other threads you would be aware we have changed the keyboards outlook by removing all logos from the keyset and top of the board. Only Branded logo is on the front face plate of the board which is rarely visible.

If you remove the logos from the top of the board, it would look a lot nicer. I think it should also be available in black; the gunmetal gray just looks weird. Also, those red LEDs on the scroll lock and windows lock keys shine in your eyes and it's really painful in a dark room.

this is the most ridiculous post i have ever read... wow so picky. so i guess you dont have any light on your PC and also you keep looking at your keyboard while playing lol

i have my QFR and i dont see why a simple logo will make you so unhappy... you better have all your shirt just plain and boring right?

do you see the beauty? no u dont

Not really, seeing as if you're paying ~$100 for a keyboard, you're going to want it to work perfectly for you, that includes how it looks. So it really wasn't a 'ridiculous post'.

Opinion is subjective. I'm talking generally, not just about your beloved keyboard. I'm not questioning the build quality, i am merely seeing how it can get annoying, have you seen the first gen QF? The branding WAS EVERYWHERE. Now, why would they change it?
