When the time comes, given the options you've outlined, I would go with the WD Black 1TB drive. I haven't had any issues with the one that I have and it's quite a good drive. I had previously sworn by Seagate drives but then I had one actually catch fire. Sent it out and got a replacement which caught fire as well a year later.

I was able to get a Hitachi Deskstar 7K3000 2TB 7200 RPM drive from NCIX for $90 back in August. I ended up getting two of them for my new build.
