Oh man, this looks amazing!

This is how games should be... Real time physics, awesome graphics.........just overall not held back by crap consoles.

Anyone else remember Die by the Sword?

Real time analog input for combat is a neat idea, but horrible if not executed right, and in this case, I think motion controllers may be the only way to do it right.
I'm excited by the idea of all the motions all being calculated real time, but input needs to be button combos for specific moves, just like every good fighting game ever. Otherwise it's just a bunch of waggle, really no better than the clickfest games we have now.

The rest of the world sounds amazing, I've been waiting for a persistent, open world, perma death RPG for quite a while. We just have to hope that they figure out the right balance between dynamic movement and playability.

I must be missing something, here.

It looks like a top-down RPG to me, how is it "innovative" and "groundbreaking"?

have you ever seen animation like that before other than on a movie? did you notice how realistically the knight got up after being bashed into the fruit stall? ive not seen anything like that on a game before.

all you do is get this funded they make a top down RPG and then there next game is an FPS RPG with the same animations and some facial tech etc.. would be epic

surprised lucasfilm hasnt snapped some of the code up for a starwars game

Procedural animation isn't a new concept. Even GTA IV's euphoria system used them. You can also test it out in various 3D content creation suites like Maya.

I actually laughed out loud when I watched this. It just looks so weird when they're fighting, like they're not only drunk, but blind as well. I'll agree it looks like it could be a really great game, but if combat is gonna look like this, I won't be able to play it, because i'll be laughing too much.

i quite liked the slow heavy look of the animation, made it feel oldy worldy and primal.

The potential of the technology is huge, even if the current engine looks a bit awkward. Great idea though and tons of time to improve on it before release. Backed
