Backing the crap out of this. Look at the tools they have for building. Sweet mother of god, the internet needs to get their hands on this.

As far as the drunken movements, what'd you expect? The physics are real, imagine trying to animate a human-sized, human-weighted puppet by moving it's ligaments and joints from a distance. This is just flat-out going to take some practice to get right.

I loved the fight with the ogre/troll at the end of the video. That's what getting pwned should look like every time. Getting knocked around like a helpless insect and stomped into the dirt. wheee.gif

Am sick of the Korean cartoon look with cat ears, bring back the 90's photo-realistic flair to the modern RPG.

You think you could move and balance normally with a full suit of armor?

So if this doesn't hit the goal, does that mean they don't get any of the funding, and the project flops? frown.gif

Yep, so help the rest of us promote the hell out of it. Spam it everywhere you can think of.

Creator said that he would consider leaving the current animations in as either an unlockable or as an effect for when you get drunk at the local tavern. Who else is up for some drunken multiplayer brawling in the pigsty behind Aunt Bess's?

Seeing as you nor I have ever worn a full suit of armor, I wouldn't know, I can only assume.

You don't need to assume. It's logical. I'll hold your tiny baby hand and walk you through it. If you envelope yourself in something heavy, your general movement will change because 1. your balance has changed and 2. you must exert yourself more. Ta-da!

And I have worn a full suit of armor before, thank you very much.

I've only worn full chain myself. Was awkward for about 15 minutes but after that I felt like a bull. Obstacles were measured by their destructibility, and if they weren't destructible, it was a question of how far I had to walk around it, because there was no climbing over and ducking under might result in a five minute break. biggrin.gif

In highschool, there was a guy I knew who actually made his own chainmail one loop at a time. Looked so tedious, and took the entire school year for him to finish, but when it was done it was sweet (and really freaking heavy).
