With the cheaper board only has 3 eggs on new egg.. that would worry me spending this kinda money...

Alright everything you would need for a business/job oriented pc with some gaming mixed in for $1,821.90 before promo codes and $1,747.46 after promos with shipping and $35 worth of rebates still.

newegg.zip 216k .zip file Its a xps file in a zip you can open with internet explorer that will show all parts with promos and is cheaper too boot, but case is up in the air as it came with a combo deal case/dvd writer to save $10 with free shipping even tho it took $1.97 off but product page says shipping is $4.99

But this only applies if you live in the US or have a bud that visits you regularly for better price and no VAT lol

Oh and here is with IB setup with everything same just different cpu/mobo, newegg.zip 222k .zip file for just $1,361.67 with shipping included.

Hmm i see, the x79 motherboards are a lot pricier... But is that nor worth it since the socket will stay alive longer ? It's just that I don't want to make the same mistake that i did when buying my e8500. I Could have payed like 200$ more and i could have gotten an i7 920 that would still have lasted me for a couple of years...

Well look at like this the next mainstream socket u will be able to buy cpu+mb+ram for less then the price of upgrading the socket 2011 CPU...

And you will be getting the latest and greatest .

dont chase technology , you will never win ...

just buy what you need now .

i use 3dsMax / Solidworks / Adobe CS5 on a x58 quadcore . with a 580gtx ... still rocking . 2 years and 24/7 always on PC . the GPU DOES matter specialy if you are using HDR and some high quality rendering stuff on 3ds (u better check GPU aceleration compatibility list )

ohh and memory , get good quality memory with some good timings
