Where did you get the parts from..

What kills me is that I usually ship things to my office, so I can sign for it. Aside from my name and company name on it, I always put "Suite x / Dock y" on it. Suite x in case the come around to the front of the building, and Dock y in case they come around to the rear of the building. The numbers of the suite are right over your front door and are 18" tall. The number on our dock door are 24" inches tall.

This batch of parts came from Performance PCS. They are one of my favorites, and I've never had an ounce of trouble with them. Actually the opposite. The guys are PPC have helped me out with many an issue. For this build, I will most likely getting parts from Performance PCS, Frozen CPU, Sidewinder, Newegg, and Microcenter. Each place has their advantages, and some don't always carry exactly what I want.

Anyway, here is the second shipment of the new build. Gotta love water cooling booty!







I simply love the look of the XSPC Twin D5 Dual Bay Reservoir/Pump Combo. I might paint the included front panel to match the pedestal base, but then again, I might just leave it clear. I will have to sleeve those power cables though.

Another package from Performance PCs came today (this time the FedEx guy actually delivered it correctly).

I'm now the proud owner of an Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 360 Radiator. Man this sucker is HUGE, even when sitting next to my XSPC RX360 radiator!

And as I was leaving, I checked the mail box, and the postman dropped off my order of 1/2" ID by 5/8" OD Durelene tubing from Sidewinder.

If you thought the XSPC RX360 was big, here is a little side by side comparison!





Gotta love Durelene 1/2" ID by 5/8" OD. It is nice and clear, easily bendable, high flow, and in my experience, doesn't get cloudy, and shows off the Mayhem dye nicely.

I think today I'll head down to Microcenter and pick up one of the Intel i7 3770K they have on sale for $229. I wish they also carried the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP7 motherboard, I'd get that at the same time and get a $40 discount for the combo. Oh well, I'll order that on Friday, most likely from Newegg. Or I might hold off and see if by some miracle, it is on someones "Black Friday" or "Cyber Monday" sale. I wish more people carried this board.

Is that you first time ever getting the Durelene? I'm using mine for the first time in my build, and so far I love it. Can't wait to get my coolant in there, shows it off nicely like you said.

No, this will be my second build using Durelene.

In my first build, "The Betty", I used blue PrimoFlex LRT and after 10 months changed out the PrimoFlex for Durelene and Mayhem blue dye. That was 2 months ago, and so far, I haven't had any clouding or staining issues with it. As best as I can tell, it is just as clear as it was when I installed it.

Cool. I've used clear LRT, UV Blue, and White, and they all formed plasticizer. That's why I'm using Durelene this time, hope it lasts like everyone has been saying.
