This is why I love and recommend XSPC and PPC, because every time there is a problem (which isn't often, I just buy a ton of gear, and "stuff happens"), they are always right on top of it and take very good care of me.

Well, I got the replacement reservoir from XSPC and Performance PC's today (as well as some more stuff ... I can't not get a package from PPCs and not order MORE can I?)

Guess I'll throw it together and start running another test. Wish me luck.

Everything works just as it should. thumb.gif

So far no leaks, and the pump is virtually silent after just 5 minutes of bleeding all the micro-bubbles out of the loop.

Tomorrow I can start putting things together for real.

I let the pumps and bay reservoir run all night at full bore (setting 5 on both) and no leaks. I dialed it back to setting 3 and it is just purring along like a kitten now. I did notice that I should have been a little more delicate with the pedestal base (maybe put a town over my work space, etc) when I was setting things up, and got some scratches in the paint. SO ... I figured that now I got everything measured, laid out (including my drain tube and 'T' handle cut off that came in the rest of the order yesterday), I'd tear it down, clean it up, and lay down a new coat of flat black. I just got back from my paint booth at work and it looks nice, and I will DEFINITELY be much more careful when I do final assembly tomorrow.

Besides, I have to watch the Ravens and Bronco's play this after noon. thumb.gif So no pictures today.

Yeah, it's a Binks spray booth. Something like a 12' by 12' by 8' tall one. Normally I don't mess with it, our fiberglass and painting guys do most of the time, but I've been known to sneak in there on the weekend from time to time. biggrin.gif

The stupid thing only cost us about $9,000 for the booth (metal lights, fan, supply of filters, etc), another $5,000 or so to install it (electrical, assembly, and cutting the hole in the roof for the exhaust stack), but it cost us over $27,000 in legal fees in dealing with the EPA to get all the permits, EPA approval, and general paperwork.

Waiting to see the pics of the pedestal mounted to the case, and in other major news.... I want Ray Lewis to get one more ring.

I wait in anticipation! smile.gif Great build! I've read it all except for page 15, I was lazy and just looked at pictures. The fact that you are doing this is pretty awesome. I'm looking into liquid cooling however I travel a lot with my desktop and it worries me if I'll damage something or if someone will damage something during transportation. None the less awesome job, i'm looking forward to the final build and consider this a subscriber.
