Well, another day, another set of computer part deliveries from around the world.

First up, from Newegg. We won't comment too much on this (because you all know my "love" of this product) mainly because it was a speculative buy. Maybe I'll use one of the 10 copies I got if they straighten things out, but if not, I can always just sell them all for more than I paid for them.




Next up, the item that really got me all excited.



I can't wait to see how this new batch looks. I may whip up a batch later tonight and photograph it. I doubt I'll be able to drain my loop and fill it up until Monday night or so.

The reason for the delay, I just got back from the office and shot some black and orange paint on the memory heat sinks. They are going to look awesome. I also drilled the 4 holes to mount the Samsung 840 Pro SSD on the power supply cover and hit it with a coat of orange. I'll let that set over night and hit it with a 2nd coat in the morning.

Then we are hosting a Super Bowl party, so I will most likely have to clean up and get ready and I just don't want to have my computer all torn apart for that. Besides, I'm toying with the idea of actually removing the fill tube that goes up the front of the case up to the center top connector. It will not only make things look a little cleaner there, but it will allow me to ditch a 3-way connection and make the rest of the tubing flow better. Besides, I find myself just popping off the front of the case and filling things directly from the XSPC dual bay reservoir anyway.

I *HATE* buying copies of software without physical media (see my discussion on the Germany sues Steam thread). You are at the mercy of your bandwidth and the company staying in business. With physical media, you don't have to worry about that.
