It has less to do with compatibility and more to do with design and failure-prone record that should override compatibility in low end MSI AM3 boards. You should read about it in "About VRMs & MOSFETs". Make sure to check the documented list of VRM failures.... you'll notice an interesting trend with low end MSI boards on AM3/+ socket.

 

I do not trust them with 125W TDP quad and hexa core processors, even at stock.

 

Thankfully the common issue may begin to disappear as designs improve on FM2.

My mobo isn't in the list in that topic, but i guess i have to change it anyway. So what would you suggest me to buy (what mobo i mean, prefer something <100€) ?
