Upgrade for BF3

Thread Starter
Hi,

I recently bought a Gigabyte 660 GTX TI but it's not really running smooth. Should I upgrade the RAM to 6 or 8 Go or just buy a new board & CPU ?

Thanks

edit: updated my rig.

It's quite a bad build, so it's probably the reason it's not running great.

Drumroll

Platform upgrade!

Either that or find a cheap 775 quad, but even for the used price of a q9450 or something you might as well just upgrade to new stuff.

I'm not sure if I want a new system. Would 6 Gb or 8Gb helps for more frames in BF3?

This, and overclock it.

The 660ti is more than fine for BF3. The rest of the build is kinda outdated and probably bottlenecking your GPU though.

EDIT: 2GB of more RAM is going to give you nothing in Battlefield
