I need a new way of transporting my laptop.
It will be used for work but also social stuff. I don't know whether I'm asking in the right place for this sorta thing but we techie people seem to have a finger and toe in every pie so I thought I'd ask.
I've been reading around for a while now but cannot seem to find a decent answer to my problem as on every site you encounter, there's always some guy *****ing about a broken strap.
I recently acquired a new Clevo P170EM via the help of this forum and a few of its members. You know who you are. And thank you.
My previous Clevo has lots of little dents in the aluminium lid and a smashed hinge and it's very hard life at university combined with a crap backpack were the cause of this.
Anyway the new one is a 17.3" machine and while it's not the heaviest or largest laptop I've encountered, it's still by no means small. It also doesn't feel as durable as its cousin either.
While it and myself are still in the honeymoon period, I think it's time I bought it some new accessories to prolong its life.
I've found a few bags that seem to do what I'd like:
Swissgear Ibex:

Targus XL:

Has anyone had any of these backpacks?
It needs to be able to hold that retarded PSU that came with it (it literally has the length and girth of a brick) a mouse, a 360 controller and ideally has a few pockets for an external soundcard and headphones and other bits of crap.
I don't care about size, I care a bit about price but not that much. Comfort, usable space and pockets are key. Lots of pockets for techie crap = awesome. If the bag could be re-purposed when it doesn't need to carry a laptop that would be awesome too.
Any thoughts?

" but I quickly learned, it's perfect and damn near indestructible (the dog ate part of the zipper off, still opens and closes though!).
