My friend just called me and asked what is a good and cheap camera for reviews. His computer is broken and I think he is a little drunk but I am curious myself now. I am not going to review anything I don't want to but I am just curious what is the cheapest camera that a reviewer should get to take pictures of computer parts? And I don't know maybe he was serious but I think he was just drunk.

Any camera will do, but you will have to spend a bit on lighting to make said products appear how you want them to.

Probably due to poor lighting, as Sub already covered. Light is the key to product photos.

are you only wanting to do pictures for a review or are you talking video as well?
any camera even a cell phone can take pictures for a review. as mentioned above lighting is more important than the camera itself.
