Would a 1000 dollar computer be able to stream 1080 playing Metro 2033?

Im going to build my first ever personal computer. I have 1000-1250 dollars to spend currently. I was wondering if that's enough to play and stream at the highest possible settings.

Additionally, I would like to know of some builds for that pricing (only if it would be enough, don't waste your time if it can't handle crazy games, multiple screens, streaming, and listening to pandora all at the same time)

Yes, that would be great for a powerful computer. See my build log, in sig, for ideas and substitute the video card for a 7950 or a 7970.

I dont think the game engine will allow the PC to play a game while streaming a movie.. I suppose you can set up the movie to start playing and then go game but how would sound work? It doesn't seem very.. plausible..

But the PC would not be the limitation, the software would be

Lol I meant streaming my gameplay to the internet ie: twitch.tv

But I would like to be able to watch a movie on one screen while playing video games on another (games that require less attention than normal obviously)

Do you need everything minus monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc? Will the $1000 also have to include a case, PSU and heatsink?

Since you want to stream you'll be looking at getting the 3770k with a decent mobo so you're already blowing $500 on those and a decent heatsink. Add in a GPU (probably HD7000 series, unless you prefer Nvidia) and some RAM, most likely 16GB so that you don't lack memory with encoding phases and everything, you'll be entering the realm of $800-900 total without a case or PSU.

From this bench it looks like you would be able to play it without much issues. Streaming it is a different matter as last time I used FRAPS or another recorded it blew chunks with how many resources it took up.
