Kaveri is the first GCN apu, not Richland.
Richland is from older roadmaps.
Richland is a 28nm trinity with tweaked piledriver cores.

Hopefully it will be worth the wait. Small improvements in performance isn't going to cut it..... unless they can get power consumption down, which I can't see right now.

based on the current apu's being behind by one generation of the deskto gpu's I highly doubt that.

Correct. Richland will be coming out after the HD 8000 series. One generation behind that would obviously be the HD 7000 series, which is GCN-based.

that it would, would bring budget gaming up another notch (imagine a perfect world where an APU would be strong enough to not bottleneck, and AMD implements a new engine to utilize the apu for gpu based calculation for gaming similar to physx i wish). advancements with HSA and the IGPU can really be interesting for the next couple of years to come.

[SA] AMD’s Kaveri APU delayed till 2014

I bought two of these because for $7, why not. First of all, these definitely move more air than the fans that came with my Cooler Master case. Furthermore, they move more air than my Cooler Master...

This was the only fan that would fit in the space I had in my case between a radiator and a waterblock/pump housing. Given that I had no alternatives, i was truly please with the sound (or absence...

I replaced a loud fan in my Cooler Master Elite 430 with this. The other fan moved about the same amount of air with a far louder, higher RPM (I assume) device. This fan has a cool-looking metal...

Mouse has tracking troubles on multi-coloured pads, If you has small-medium hands it is palm or claw grip mouse. For large handed people only claw, go and buy ec1 if you want to palm.

This is not the first time that I bought these fans, however in an effeort to try and shave some degrees off my load temps, I thought I would give them another go as I was impressed with their...
