Need Headphone Help!

Planning on getting some new headphones for Christmas to replace my POS Sharper Image headphones I got when a local business closed. I got them for $9.99 and they aren't TOO bad, but they lack bass. They are also not comfortable after about an hour.

So I'm looking for some around ear headphones that will be comfortable for several hours at a time. I'd also like clarity.

The problem is, I can't see the point in spending copious amounts of money on something I'm only going to use rarely. So I'm looking for sub $50 range.

Could look into the JVC HARX900 (just slightly over budget) or the HARX700.

Budget: Less than $50.
Music: I listen to everything.
Desirability: Good for movies and gaming, sound good.
Products I will use it with: Onboard sound on the mobo in my sig.
Use: I will be using them at home for movies and gaming, possibly music. I play The Elder Scrolls series, Borderlands 2, things like that. I watch all sorts of movies, from horror to romance.
Where I live and local stores: I live in a small town in South Dakota. My local stores carry nothing I would buy as far as electronics and accessories go. So I'm limited to online only. More than likely I'll be getting a Visa gift card or an Ebay gift card, so I'm not sure how limited I may be.
