Hey guys,
Recently I got an iPhone 5, and after reading some very thought-provoking articles about using one's phone as one's main camera, I started fooling around. I think between Instagram, 645 Pro, and Photoshop Express I've found a good collection of applications so that I can take and post-process images entirely on my phone, and it's forcing me to look at subjects differently.
As such, I'm proposing a thread for us purely to share photos that were not taken with something that bills itself as a camera. That means no DSLRs, no point-and-shoots, and nothing you would load film into. Instead, show me your photos taken with your phone, iPod, or anything else that bills itself as something else first and a camera (at least) second.
No need to rate photos, this is just an experiment to demonstrate the adage, "the best camera is the one you have with you at the time." They may not be technically perfect, but they will (hopefully) provide visual interest in a way that breaks us away from our bags of fancy gear and back to just taking photos that help us tell the stories of our lives.
I'll kick it off, shall I?
