You may want to wait until 2016, assuming a similar console cycle occurs. That or build a "small" build or get some upgrades to tide you over until then. It takes a year or two for developers to get comfortable with new consoles. Until then, its entirely up in the air as to what will reign supreme in terms of hardware for ported / cross platform games (which, lets face it, covers pretty much every pc game).
