just had the problem of AI suite not working when i upgraded to WIN8.
kept saying your product does notsupport this and other things, as i use fan xpert alot i was really annoyed almost worth going back to win7.
my motherboard is P8P67 LE which was not supported by asus to use ai suite II with windows 8.
after trying several things eg, bios update, windows 7 64 bit version of ai suite II, changing compatability mode to win7, even the disc that came with the mobo wouldnt allow it, said "does not support WIN NT 6.2" (is windows 8). So after searching google alot, i noticed a fair few people had this problem, but also people with other types of asus boards didnt. no one said exactly how though...
The solution in the end was going to the download support page for the ASUS ROG boards because they have support for win8+ai suite II and downloading the ai suite under "utilities" there and it worked!. dont know why it doesnt have a version under downloads for my board then???
anyways i know it sounds obvious but there are quite a few people comlpaining of the same compatability issue around, so hopefully i helped someone, it sure made me happy getting it to work as im getting real used to Win 8 now
