GTX 670 FTW Hanging at Splash Screen Bios

I have been having a terrible time trying to get Battlefield 3 to work on my gtx 670, and yesterday attempted a clean installation of the 306.97 driver. But i have now gotten a couple of BSOD's, now that those are gone i just hang at bios splash screen for ~1:30 before booting into windows like normal. Everything after that is completely normal like nothing happened. Whats causing this and how do get around it?

I would wipe your drivers and re-install the newest ones.

Use driver sweeper:

Open it and click "Nvidia Display" then click clean. Some people rec. to do it in safe mode but either or.

Actually I think the problem might be bios related. I was the owner of a maximus v gene not to long ago and I remember one of the newest bios fixes in the notes said "fix for GTX 680 hang on splash screen" Here is the screen shot. Try updating bios, bet it will fix it.

No longer stuck at bios splash screen, thanks for the heads up as usual guys! (Although BF3 is still being stubborn when trying to play...)
