Forgive me if this is the silliest question you've ever come across, but this area of science is not my expertise. I'm considering adding a few more stuff to my folding room for the winter and was wondering if there is any danger of setting off the fire sprinklers.
I believe most fire sprinklers chemical reaction that sets them off happens somewhere in the 60s (degrees C) for red/orange bulbs which is what I have. I've never seen any of my components go over 100C (Fermi gpu being my hottest stuff) and if I am not mistaken air is a poor conductor of heat. Can anyone explain to me how much of that heat is transferred to the air and if adding more stuff but maintaining my current max heat threshold would significantly increase the chance of setting off the system?
I guess I could open a window, use another room, or make a cover for the sprinkler (since I monitor my machines when I fold); but i'm just curious to the answer for this question...
