The basics are pretty simple. I'm not good, either, but I can do basics.
1) Go into your BIOS
2) Find your multiplier and FSB speeds
3) Increase VCore to the max you would want it at (1.45v isn't a bad 24/7 voltage)
4) Increase your multiplier to get a pretty CPU speed
5) Boot up
6) Run Prime95 to confirm it's stable
7a) If stable, go to Step 4
7b) If not stable, either increase VCore or reduce your multiplier by one setting. Confirm stability with P95 Repeat until P95 stable.
