No it doesn't. You need 8GB Samsung ULV a 2500K and a motherboard.

i think we are not in the same page. we are referring to upgrading 'money$ $y$tem'. you don't need a new OS unless you have an OEM, do you?

i am and i like what im seeing.......BTW everybody i bought the 7950 and it does not work very nicely i lost frames in bf3 and very choppy i assume that my cpu/mobo is a bottleneck??????? WEIRD lol my cpu usage was at 100%....99% percent of the time dipping to 98% 1% of the time LOL.....now i wonder if i should just keep it till i build new rig or just return it and save up for later new rig and 2nd 7970, hmmmmmmmm.....

i diddnt even try to dwnld cap files, but mayb i should...

awhile back i saw here on ocn a guy who was running 2 7970s on the same rig and he said it ran fine.....???????
